Vibey Lights x Pinterest Holiday
My goal with this design was to capture the potential of euphoric joy that can come during the holiday season– particularly after a year filled with so much sadness and doubt. All of the images chosen in this slide deck showcase real people with real emotion. Each image acts as a threshold between the underlying “euphoric” narrative and the context behind the data provided.

After attending the Pinterest Predicts workshop, I had the opportunity to learn the ins and outs behind the 2021 Pinterest Predicts trends.
The vibey lights trend really stuck with me.
As an avid Pinterest lover, my first approach felt safe and in line with the Pinterest brand. Rather than sticking with the norm, I decided to take a different route and “added a little bit of spice” to the first design. Using the word “Euphoria” as my driver to lean in to the “vibey lights” trend, my next pass at this deck came to life.
